He has advised numerous entities on the implementation of the revised Payment Services Directive, AML IV–V regulations and recommendations and guidelines published by the Financial Action Task Force, the European Securities and Markets Authority and the European Banking Authority, including in the fields of capital markets, AML, ESG and outsourcing. Konrad also has extensive knowledge and professional experience in EU single market law. Katarzyna Kaczmarzyk is a counsel and attorney-at-law at PwC Legal, with over 15 years of professional experience. Her practice focuses on corporate reorganisations, investment funds and private client advisory, and she has extensive expertise in applying investment funds, alternative investment companies and non-Polish entities for corporate reorganisations. Katarzyna has co-ordinated numerous projects related to the establishment and restructuring of Polish alternative investment fund structures, and has advised on cross-border investments and reorganisations.
Łukasz Łyczko is a partner at PwC Legal, specialising in payment services law, banking law and capital markets law. He provides regulatory advice to financial institutions and entities related to the financial market.
He has experience in projects concerning the implementation of Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II), the Act on Payment Services, licensing proceedings before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, and the outsourcing of banking activities. Łukasz is a regulatory expert appointed by the Polish Bank Association and Chamber of Brokerage Houses to develop market guidelines for shaping the approach to ESG changes in sustainable finance, non-financial reporting and trading in financial instruments.
