Sailaja Alla is a partner in Appleby’s corporate department and is the head of investment funds in the Cayman Islands. Sailaja has extensive experience in advising investment managers, private equity sponsors,

Maree Martin acts as counsel in Appleby’s corporate department and, in addition to advising on a wide range of general corporate matters, works closely with the investment funds and regulatory teams in the

investment banks, fund administrators and other fund service providers on the formation, operation, governance, restructuring and termination of all types of investment funds across a broad range of asset classes. Sailaja also advises on Cayman Islands regulatory and licensing issues in relation to these funds, and has experience in a wide range of general corporate matters. Sailaja is a member of the Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association.

Cayman Islands. Maree advises fund service providers on the formation, regulatory requirements, governance, structuring and termination of all types of Cayman Islands investment funds. Prior to joining Appleby, Maree worked for a leading offshore firm in their corporate funds group. Maree is a member of the Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association.

James Mossetto is a senior associate in Appleby’s corporate department and the funds and investment services team in the Cayman Islands. He represents hedge funds, private equity funds, family offices and

Matt Mulry is a partner in Appleby’s corporate department and the funds and investment services team in the Cayman Islands. Matt’s main areas of

practice are investment funds, financial services, regulatory and general commercial work. He has extensive experience in the Cayman Islands, where he has advised on the launching and maintenance of hedge funds and private equity funds addressing corporate, regulatory and compliance issues. Matt has been involved in major transactions involving leading investment managers and leading onshore law firms. Prior to joining Appleby, Matt worked as general counsel for a leading investment manager focused on the oil and gas industry, and set up the Cayman Islands office of Ireland’s leading investment funds law firm.

Prior to joining Appleby, James was a senior associate in the London office of a US law firm, and was previously an associate in the funds team of a Magic Circle law firm in London.
