pricing, concerted practices, and cartels, as well as on procedural issues relating to limitation, summary judgment/strikeout and the recoverability of costs. Alongside its antitrust damages experience, Clifford Chance also represents clients in appeals against CMA decisions before the CAT, having acted in more of these than any other firm in the UK in recent years and overturning both cartel findings and abuse of dominance cases.

dispute resolution group, focusing on antitrust litigation and investigations. Oliver also advises on administrative law and public policy matters. His recent experience includes acting for Epic Games in proceedings against Google in the Competition Appeal Tribunal, and a defendant in follow-on ongoing proceedings brought by UK Supermarkets related to the European Commission’s Salmon Cartel investigation.

More recently, an appeal brought by Phones4U was dismissed in its entirety by the Court of Appeal. Sam has also had senior secondments to the CMA and Bank of Eng - land. Representing leading football agencies, she recently overturned a fee cap proposed by FIFA which was found to be an abuse and a buyers’ cartel.
