Johannes Vogel has a broad range of finance experience, focusing on cross-border asset finance and leasing structures and restructurings in the aviation industry. In addition, he specialises in international insolvency

capital market transactions, joint ventures, acquisitions and restructurings. Konrad received his legal education at the universities of Gießen and Madison/Wisconsin, and he holds the degree of Doctor of Law (Dr Jur) from the University of Frankfurt/Main. He was admitted as a lawyer in 1994. He speaks German and English. Konrad Schott has been ranked by Chambers as Global Market Leader in Asset Finance and in Rail & Aviation Asset Finance in Germany for many years.

Jan Brinkmann covers a broad range of tax areas, including asset finance and leasing. In addition, he often advises on the tax structuring of corporate reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions, fund structuring,

VAT, transfer pricing for financial services and international/EC tax law. Jan studied law at the University of Constance, from which he holds a Doctor of Law degree. He also obtained a Master of Laws degree (M Jur) from the University of Oxford. Jan was admitted to the Bar in 1998 and joined Freshfields in 1999. He qualified as a certified tax adviser in 2001 and became a partner in 2004.
