Raphael Rangel is a partner at Areosa who has a distinguished and consistent track record in strategic litigation and specialised business consulting, with solid experience in complex disputes involving corporate,
judiciary and administrative instances, notably the Brazilian SEC and Central Bank. He holds a Master’s in Civil Procedural Law from PUC-SP, an LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School, extension studies in Corporate Law and Capital Markets from FGV-Rio, and a Bachelor of Laws from PUC-Rio. He is a professor and lecturer in graduate courses, author of articles in collections, newspapers and law journals, and member of the list of Arbitrators of the Chamber of Arbitration and Mediation of Agribusiness.

Guilherme Peres de Oliveira is a partner at Areosa who has worked in strategic civil litigation and arbitration, with extensive experience in complex claims before the judiciary, arbitration chambers and administrative bodies.
He has held leadership positions at renowned law firms and served as Deputy Attorney General and Attorney General of the OAB-RJ. He holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Civil Procedural Law from PUC-SP, as well as a Law degree from PUC-Rio. He teaches in postgraduate programmes and is also the author of specialised books and articles. In addition, he actively participates in academic boards and public examinations.
