G Elias has also authored standard legal opinions (including a netting opinion) for Nigeria for the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) and other entities.

Chima Uzochukwu-Obi is an associate at G Elias. Chima plays a key role in the firm’s banking and finance, capital markets and derivatives practice groups. Chima has advised on numerous banking

Michelle Chikezie is a partner at G Elias. She leads much of the firm’s work in capital markets, structured finance, venture capital, and private equity practices. She acts for global investment banks, development

on several of the firm’s banking and finance and derivatives deals. She also regularly provides legal advice to leading international banks and multinational financial services firms on securities- lending transactions, repos, swaps and forwards with Nigerian entities, including the financial institution regulator. Anita is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
