Fernando del Castillo Elorza is a Mexican attorney with over 32 years of experience in financial restructuring and insolvency, as well as civil and commercial litigation and arbitration. He holds a Law degree from the
National Autonomous University of Mexico (1993) and a Master’s in Business Law from Universidad Panamericana (2016). He is the founding partner of Del Castillo & Castro Abogados and previously served as a partner at Santamarina y Steta. Fernando has led high-profile restructuring matters in Mexico, advising debtors, creditors and investors, and is consistently recognised by leading international legal directories as a top practitioner.
Sajid Arroyo is an associate specialising in civil and commercial litigation, financial restructuring, insolvency proceedings and commercial arbitration. Having obtained his Law degree in 2023 and
a specialisation in Amparo Law from Universidad Panamericana, his practice focuses on advising insolvent companies, creditors and governmental entities. Sajid frequently acts in complex domestic and cross-border financial restructurings, alongside corporate, banking and construction disputes. He is fluent in Spanish, English and German.
