CSO Law LLC was formed by Craig S. O’Dear on January 1, 2026 as a platform from which to continue his law practice in business and commercial litigation. Mr O’Dear had the privilege of practising for some 37 years in one of the US’s finest international law
firms, but he, for some time, had a dream of opening his own law firm, for greater autonomy and flexibility. The firm will continue to focus on business litigation, but with an eye toward opportunities to handle such cases under an alternative fee arrangement.

Craig S. O’Dear has extensive trial experience handling complex, high- stakes business litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants, including misappropriation of trade secrets, fiduciary duties, breach of contract,
fraud and misrepresentation, antitrust, wage and hour claims, consumer protection statutes, qui tam cases, real estate partnership disputes, guardianship and estate litigation, product liability litigation in aviation, and a range of other products (Mr O’Dear additionally is a licensed pilot and has an engineering degree).
