Authors
Aris Papaspyridis is the managing partner and co-founder of AP Legal. He is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales with prior professional experience at City law firm Herbert Smith. Aris leads AP Legal’s energy
law team and co-leads the firm’s corporate and M&A practices. He has a distinguished track record in a vast array of legal matters – namely, advising international and local corporate clients in the energy and commercial field, including project developers, constructors, and high-profile individual corporate clients. Aris’ experience in corporate and M&A practice consists of supporting international clients on their cross-border transactions, including acquisitions and joint ventures, group restructuring, divestments, and equity investments.
Konstantinos Kounelis is a junior associate at AP Legal and a member of the Athens Bar Association. He specialises in energy law, with a focus on the regulatory frameworks governing renewable energy projects.
Konstantinos’ academic background includes an LLM in energy and climate law from the University of Groningen, where he focused on the permitting regimes for green hydrogen production units in Greece, as well as the financing, ownership and activities of the North Sea artificial energy islands developed by Belgium and Denmark.
Virginia Kokios is a senior associate at AP Legal, with many years of experience in various legal fields, advising both national and international clients. She has a particular focus on media and IP law – advising clients on press issues and
