Ambientalex Studio Legale has offices in Rome, Mi- lan and Florence, and is active in the various sec- tors of environmental and energy law. The firm also counsels on cutting-edge environmental law issues, including climate change practice, taking into con- sideration soon-to-be-issued environmental legisla- tion. Ambientalex advises Italian and foreign multi- national companies, NGOs and trade associations seeking compliance with environmental legislation. Clients also include other law firms. tured into teams, consisting of one or two partners as well as associates dedicated to each of the various aspects of environmental law. Authors

David A Röttgen is a partner of Ambientalex and is based in Milan. His areas of expertise are mainly in the field of waste, remediation and environmental permits. Before founding Ambientalex in 2009, he

publications in journals, focusing on administrative law and environmental law.

Francesco Fonderico is a partner of Ambientalex in the firm’s Rome office. Francesco is a cassation lawyer with a PhD in Organisation and Functioning of Public Administration, and provides legal assistance in

He has published about 90 contributions and has been a Professor of Environmental Law at the Department of Law, LUISS University of Rome since 2017.

Andrea Farì is a partner of Ambientalex. He is a cassation lawyer with a PhD in Administrative Law, Researcher RTT in Administrative Law at Pegaso Telematic University and a contract Professor of Environmental Law at the LUMSA

Ermanno Fonderico has a degree in Economics and Law, and is of counsel in Ambientalex’s Rome office. He is qualified as a chartered accountant and auditor. He has held corporate offices as a board member
