Kritika Poddar is an insolvency research fellow at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. She has more than six years of experience in insolvency and bankruptcy matters and has been involved in insolvency litigation for various stakeholders such as creditors, corporate debtors and resolution professionals. Kritika currently focuses on IBC research and policy, actively contributing to the firm’s endeavours in the advancement of the insolvency law of India. She is a member of the Bar Council of India.

Shardul Shroff is the executive chairman of Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co and also heads the firm’s insolvency and bankruptcy

practice. His four decades of experience span across a wide spectrum of laws, including expertise in M&A, securities law, government regulations, disinvestment and capital markets, and debt recovery, helping build a pole position for the firm in many of these practice areas. He has been consistently rated as a leading corporate lawyer by several international forums and publications, including Chambers and Partners. Shardul is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association, the Inter-Pacific Bar Association and the Delhi Bar Association, and an Advocate on Record for the Supreme Court of India.

Aishwarya Satija is an insolvency research fellow at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. She has more than seven years of experience working on commissioned projects where she provided legal research and drafting

Misha is a partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co with more than 20 years of experience in dispute resolution and insolvency and bankruptcy practices. With the enactment of the Insolvency and

support to several ministries and regulators at various stages of law-making, chiefly relating to insolvency law, competition law and corporate governance. Aishwarya currently focuses on IBC research and policy, actively contributing to the firm’s endeavours in the advancement of the insolvency law of India. She is a member of the Bar Council of India.

Bankruptcy Code, 2016, she has been spearheading the insolvency and bankruptcy practice at the firm while consolidating her experience in corporate insolvency, restructuring and banking matters under the old regime. In addition to regular court appearances, Misha has also been involved in advisory work, especially in relation to insolvency and bankruptcy laws and economic offences. She is a member of the Bar Council of India.
