FINMA consolidates insolvency rules On 1 October 2025, the Swiss Financial Market Super - visory Authority (FINMA) will bring into force a new, consolidated FINMA Insolvency Ordinance. The new ordinance merges the FINMA Banking Insol - vency Ordinance (BIO-FINMA), the FINMA Insurance Bankruptcy Ordinance (IBO-FINMA) and the FINMA Collective Investment Schemes Bankruptcy Ordi - nance (CISBO-FINMA) into a single framework. The BIO-FINMA, IBO-FINMA and CISBO-FINMA will be repealed with the entry into force of the new FINMA Insolvency Ordinance.
