Stanbrook Prudhoe is a firm with deep experience of working across the Caribbean region and the com - mon law Central and South America. Based out of the Turks and Caicos Islands, the two founding part - ners (Sophie Stanbrook and Tim Prudhoe) are both London-trained. The real estate, development and commercial team is headed by Sophie Stanbrook, and the disputes practice by Tim Prudhoe. The firm continues to appear in all the major litigation in TCI,
including public law and constitutional challenges re - lating to same-sex marriage rights, immigration and habeas corpus. The lawyers also handle “big ticket” disputes work across a wide range of jurisdictions. In 2023, the firm opened an office in Georgetown, Guy - ana, reflecting the strong growth in client demand there. Subsequently, on the cusp of that growth, the firm opened an office in Grand Cayman, Cayman Is - lands in 2025.

Tim Prudhoe co-founded Stanbrook Prudhoe and heads the litigation offering. In practice for more than three decades and admitted to practice across most of the English- speaking Caribbean region, he is also a licensed insolvency practitioner active at both trial court and appeal levels (ranked in Tier 1 by Chambers & Partners). Tim’s wide-ranging practice focuses on court work. He handles public and constitutional challenges, complex civil and commercial litigation, judgment enforcement and contentious insolvency. He has sat on the Company Law Advisory Committee (a statutory body) since its inception in 2018, and was responsible for amendments to the legislation by which court applications could be made for release of information and documentation. Lemelko Missick is an attorney at Stanbrook Prudhoe in the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI). Admitted to the Bar in England and Wales in 2021 and TCI in 2023, Lemelko’s practice encompasses a diverse range of civil litigation matters. He collaborates closely with senior colleagues across various legal disciplines and jurisdictions. Lemelko is an active member of the TCI Bar Association’s Junior Bar Committee.
Nadia Chiesa is an experienced advocate specialising in complex commercial litigation and multi- jurisdictional disputes across the Caribbean. She practises with Stanbrook Prudhoe out of the Turks
and Caicos Islands. Nadia acts for clients on disputes involving shareholder rights and director’s duties, urgent injunctive relief, the registration and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards, and offshore trusts and estates matters. She advises clients on AML and regulatory compliance issues. She has appeared as lead counsel before the Caribbean Court of Justice, and represents clients at the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court and Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal, and in Ontario, Canada.
