Finally, Act No 333/2025 Coll. amended the Civil Code (new Section 2832a) to introduce an insurer’s duty to notify beneficiaries (effective 1 January 2026), and the CNB clarified that branches of EU insurers may oper- ate via separate legal entities under outsourcing rules, subject to Solvency II and governance requirements.
