Debora Gobbo is a partner at FIVERS Studio Legale e Tributario and a member of the banking, finance and insurance team. She advises insurance undertakings and intermediaries on Italian and EU
special focus on cross-boarder activities. In addition to advice on all regulatory aspects, Giovanna also assists clients before the Italian Supervisory Authorities and in court and arbitration proceedings. She has assisted clients in the drafting of complex insurance products in different sectors, including insurance-based investment products and solutions based on innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence. Furthermore, Giovanna also provides assistance with regard to the distribution of insurance products.

She also assists clients in supervisory inspections and sanction proceedings, as well as on AML/CFT and Legislative Decree No 231/2001 compliance. Debora has significant in-house secondment experience with insurance companies and regularly advises on cross-border insurance matters.
