Carlos Eduardo Coelho is a partner in the corporate/M&A practice at MdME, and head of the firm’s insurance sector practice. He represents life and general insurers, reinsurers and intermediaries in a
wide range of commercial and regulatory matters. His experience includes advising on greenfield licensing, structural reorganisations, product development and localisation, distribution, policy review, outsourcing and regulatory compliance. Carlos often provides guidance to insurance companies in adapting to shifting market and regulatory trends, such as the introduction of trust frameworks and insurtech.
