Theo Pauthonier is an associate in Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer’s Dispute Resolution practice based in Düsseldorf. He specialises in complex cross-border dispute resolution, with a particular focus on commercial

dispute resolution matters, with a particular emphasis on commercial arbitration, investment arbitration and public international law, especially on business and human rights. Lara is German- qualified and has completed an award-winning PhD on the interface between the human right to water and international investment arbitration. Lara regularly supports international clients in complex cross-border arbitration disputes under different rules including those of ICSID, ICC and DIS.
