Tomaž Ilešič is a senior partner and head of the Competition department at Rojs, Peljhan, Prelesnik & Partners. With over two decades of practice, he is widely regarded as one of Slove - nia’s most prominent competition
lawyers, with particularly deep expertise in the pharmaceutical sector built through sustained advisory work for major international pharmaceutical companies across competition, regulatory and compliance matters. He has led the defence of clients in significant proceedings before the Slove - nian Competition Protection Agency and the Euro - pean Commission, and regularly advises on the competition dimensions of complex corporate transactions. He also maintains an active regulatory and litigation practice before Slovenian courts and authorities.
Ajas Midžan is an associate in Rojs, Peljhan, Prelesnik & Partners’ compe - tition department, having joined in 2022 following his graduation with distinction (cum laude) at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana (his
thesis examined the EU and Slovenian legal frame - work on renewable energy sources). His practice covers competition law, mergers and acquisitions, and energy regulation, with a focus on merger control, antitrust compliance and the structuring of complex commercial arrangements. In the energy and infrastructure sectors, he advises on regulatory and contractual frameworks governing major projects.
