Korhan has also authored and co-authored many articles on competition law and merger control matters, and is a frequent speaker at various conferences and symposia.
Authors
Gönenç Gürkaynak is the founding partner of ELIG Gürkaynak Attorneys- at-Law and heads its competition law and regulatory department. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law, and received his LLM
from Harvard Law School and his PhD in Law from UCL Faculty of Laws. He has nearly 30 years of competition law experience. In addition to his continuing private practice as an attorney, Gönenç is a professor of practice at UCL Faculty of Laws, and a senior research fellow at the Center for Law, Economics & Society at UCL Faculty of Laws. Gönenç frequently speaks at international conferences on competition law matters. He has authored five books and published more than 80 academic articles in refereed international law journals.
Görkem Yardım is a counsel at ELIG Gürkaynak Attorneys-at-Law, having joined the firm in 2014. Görkem graduated from Ihsan Doğramacı Bilkent University’s Faculty of Law in 2011 and was admitted to the Ankara
Bar in 2012 (later transferring to the Istanbul Bar). He obtained his first LLM degree in law and economics from Ihsan Doğramacı Bilkent University in 2013 before obtaining his second LLM degree from King’s College London in 2014. Görkem has extensive experience in merger and acquisition filings, competition law compliance matters, and investigations conducted by the Turkish Competition Authority.
K Korhan Yıldırım is a partner in the competition law and regulatory department at ELIG Gürkaynak Attorneys-at-Law. He has more than 18 years of extensive experience in all areas of competition law, including
cartel agreements, abuse of dominance, concentrations and joint ventures. Korhan has
