Authors

Robert E Armstrong is nationally recognised for representation of high-net-worth clients in trust-and- estate, tax, and succession planning, including family trust companies. He is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, a fellow in the American College of Tax Counsel, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated from Santa Clara University (BSC), Georgetown Law Center, and New York University with an LLM in taxation. He is a frequent lecturer, a contributor to the drafting and development of trust-and-estate statutory law in Nevada, and ranked Band 1 in Private Wealth Law by the Chambers High Net Worth Guide.

Zach Noland is an associate in McDonald Carano’s trust-and-estate, tax, and transactional practice groups and is currently enrolled in the New York University School of Law’s Graduate Tax Program. He graduated

from the University of San Diego School of Law and served as a clerk to Chief Judge Michael Gibbons of the Nevada Court of Appeals and Justice Ron Parraguirre of the Nevada Supreme Court.

Ian DeValliere graduated magna cum laude from Notre Dame Law School in 2024 and has returned to Nevada to join McDonald Carano’s trust-and- estate and tax practice groups. Mr DeValliere was a student fellow in

Notre Dame’s Religious Liberty Clinic and represented a variety of non-profit organisations around the country in tax and transactional matters. Before law school, Mr. DeValliere worked for the Nevada State Senate, the White House Domestic Policy Council, and the US Office of Management and Budget.
