Bianca de Kroon is a partner in Forvis Mazars’ private client team in the Hague. She graduated from Utrecht University in law & economics, notarial law and tax law (all with honours) and from Cambridge
Anglo-American trusts and other trust-like devices, as well as estate planning, including providing legal and tax advice on last wills, prenuptial agreements, divorces, gifts, emigration and immigration. Frans is an emeritus professor at Leiden University and was a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School and a member of the Moltmaker Committee engaged in the preparation of a report on the revision of the Dutch Inheritance Tax Act 1956. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law.
University (LLM). In her practice, she focuses on advising high-net-worth individuals, with a particular emphasis on national and international estate planning. She advises families and individuals, directors/major shareholders, advisors to private clients (such as family offices, bankers, asset managers, solicitors and tax advisers) as well as charitable institutions. She teaches at Leiden University on inheritance and gift tax. She is a member of IAETL (International Academy for Trust and Estate Law) and regularly publishes on (international) estate planning issues.
Mike Vrijmoed is a partner in Forvis Mazars’ private client team in the Hague. He graduated from Leiden University in notarial and tax law and from the International Tax Center Leiden’s executive LLM programme in
international and European tax law. He advises entrepreneurial families, high-net-worth individuals and family offices on estate planning, international wealth structuring and succession matters. A significant part of his practice focuses on internationally mobile families and cross-border family wealth structures. Mike regularly publishes on private wealth topics and is involved in a wide range of international private client projects.
