Against this backdrop, systematic estate planning in advance is expected to play an increas - ingly important role in preventing future disputes and ensuring the stable transfer of assets between genera - tions. It will also be necessary to closely examine how the amended laws are interpreted and applied by the courts, and future precedents are expected to continue shaping the trajectory of Korean succession practice.
