He earned a J.D. from Georgetown Law Center and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. Robert is a frequent lecturer, a contributor to trust-and-estate statutory law in Nevada, and is ranked Band 1 in Private Wealth Law in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide. Robert joined McDonald Carano in 1980 and founded its Trusts & Estates Practice.

Through a student fellowship during law school, Ian represented a variety of non-profit organisations around the country in tax and transactional matters. Before law school, he worked for the Nevada State Senate, the White House Domestic Policy Council, and the US Office of Management and Budget.
Zach Noland is an associate in McDonald Carano’s trust-and-estate, tax, and transactional practice groups. He earned a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from
New York University School of Law. He served as a clerk to Chief Judge Michael Gibbons of the Nevada Court of Appeals and Justice Ron Parraguirre of the Nevada Supreme Court.
