Authors

Agnieszka Stankiewicz is an advocate who has been a partner of Greenberg Traurig since 2015 and co-head of the Warsaw real estate practice at the firm since 2025. She focuses her practice on corporate finance matters and real estate transactions. She is experienced assisting foreign and domestic investors in acquisitions, mergers, takeovers, joint ventures, corporate and organisational restructuring, acquisitions and divestments of real estate and real estate holding companies, financing and refinancing of real estate acquisitions, and forward purchase and leaseback transactions. In addition, Agnieszka handles all aspects of real estate development projects, the due diligence of companies and assets, and the restructuring of their financial indebtedness.

Rafał Siwek is an attorney-at-law who has been with Greenberg Traurig

since 2015 and a local partner in the Warsaw office of the firm since 2022. He focuses his practice on real estate. He advises international investors on real estate transactions, including acquisitions and disposals of commercial properties (shopping galleries, office buildings and logistics warehouses), including forward funding transactions and real estate-related financing and refinancing projects. His experience also includes drafting and negotiating lease agreements as well as complex legal assistance in the corporate restructuring of real estate sector companies and day-to-day advice on commercial and civil law matters.
