unsolicited takeovers, and general corporate and securities law matters. He also has a wide range of experience representing public and private companies as well as private equity firms in cross- border and domestic M&A, including contested M&A and transactions that have been subject to M&A activism. In addition, he has extensive experience in advising listed companies that are subject to shareholder activism, proxy fights and unsolicited takeovers. He was admitted to the Japanese Bar in 2006 and to the New York Bar in 2013. He is a lecturer of M&A Law at Kyoto University Law School.
