Tyr founded its sports law team in 2022 and rapidly established itself as a leading practice in sports in - tegrity, regulatory disputes, and disciplinary matters, with a growing group of specialist solicitors based in its Leeds headquarters. The team is best known for its anti-corruption investigations, contentious integ - rity cases, and football finance work, supported by deep expertise across racket sports, athletics, rugby, golf and boxing. Its recent portfolio includes acting for the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) and International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) in high- profile disciplinary and anti-corruption proceedings,
representing boxer Chris Eubank Jr on major com - mercial, regulatory and litigation issues, and handling complex safeguarding and selection disputes for the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and UK Athletics. The practice continues to expand through new client ap - pointments in sports such as American football and golf, significant arbitration and panel roles, and the recruitment of senior and associate talent. International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), and Chris Eubank Jr. He regularly leads arbitration proceedings before specialist sports tribunals, including the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and undertakes advocacy before bodies such as the International Paralympic Committee Board of Classification, the ITTF Tribunal, and the ITIA Anti- Corruption Hearing Officers. He chairs safeguarding and disciplinary disputes for UK Athletics, the Lawn Tennis Association, Sport Resolutions, Table Tennis England and British Universities and Colleges Sport, and also sits on Prem Rugby’s Financial Monitoring Panel.

Rebecca Dods is a senior associate with growing expertise in sports integrity, disciplinary matters and dispute resolution. Since joining Tyr in April 2024, she has supported and increasingly led advice on cases for
international integrity bodies, Premier League clubs, and high-profile athletes. Her experience includes proceedings before the International Paralympic Committee Board of Appeal of Classification, the International Table Tennis Federation Tribunal, the Court of Arbitration for Sport, Anti-Corruption Hearing Officers, and Rugby Football Union Independent Appeal Panels, as well as advising Six Nations rugby players on commercial and disciplinary matters.
