The metaverse offers clear opportunities, including new revenue streams from digital products and vir - tual tickets, global fan reach, and more interactive fan experiences. It can also support education and pro - fessional development through advanced simulations and digital tools. At the same time, legal and practical risks remain. The absence of specific regulation creates uncer - tainty, particularly around data protection, intellectual property, and liability for digital content. Security and privacy concerns, technical barriers, and unclear rules on branding and sponsorship rights further compli - cate adoption.
