Bouchara & Avocats is also skilled in the representa -
tion of clients in national and international disputes relating to copyright and designs. Regarding trade marks, Bouchara & Avocats advises and represents clients in all matters of prosecution and litigation: trade mark strategy, trade mark filing and portfolio management, trade mark watch service, pre-litigation and litigation cases before trade mark offices and courts, in France and abroad. The firm also works closely with Customs as part of the enforcement of its clients’ trade mark rights

Vanessa Bouchara is the founding partner of Bouchara & Avocats. Her focus is on intellectual property law and information technology law, both of which she studied at the University of Paris Panthéon Assas and at the
Louise Lacroix joined Bouchara & Avocats in September 2018 and has recently become a partner in the firm. Louise previously worked for several intellectual property firms as well as for the Paris Court of First Instance
University of Queen Mary and Westfield College, London. Admitted to the Paris Bar, she is a member of APRAM (Association des Praticiens du Droit des Marques et des Modèles – Association of Practitioners of Trade Marks and Design Law), INTA (International Trademark Association) and FFF (Fédération Française de la Franchise – French Franchise Federation). Since 2023, she has been elected co-ordinator of the College of Experts of the FFF.

She achieved a Master’s in business law at the University of Paris Descartes, and then obtained a Master’s in intellectual property at the University of Paris-Est Créteil. She also holds an LLM in international business law with an IP major from Queen Mary University of London and has a particular interest in media, sports and entertainment law.
Adèle Maier joined Bouchara & Avocats as an associate in April 2017 and has been a partner of the firm since January 2022. She previously worked for several intellectual property firms. Adèle advises and
defends clients in all intellectual property matters. She holds an LLM in intellectual property and information technology law from Fordham University School of Law in New York, and was admitted to the New York Bar in 2015 and the Paris Bar in 2017. She is a member of APRAM (Association des Praticiens du Droit des Marques et des Modèles – Association of Practitioners of Trade Marks and Design Law) and INTA (International Trademark Association).
