Vítor Palmela Fidalgo is a legal director at Inventa, where he has been practising since 2013. He is a lawyer, a certified Portuguese Patent and Trademark Attorney, and a European Union Trademark and

Design Attorney. Vítor is also an arbitrator at the Arbitration Centre (Arbitrare) and has been a member of the Committee of Experts of the Patent Mediation and Arbitration Centre (TUP), as the Portuguese representative, since 2024. Vítor has extensive expertise in intellectual property law and regularly advises national and international clients on complex IP matters. He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and was a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, in Munich. João Pereira Cabral has a Master’s degree in IP Law and more than nine years of experience. He is a certified Portuguese Patent and Trademark Attorney and a European Trademark and Design Attorney. He is also a legal manager at Inventa. João has a lot of expertise in advising clients in trade mark and design prosecution and litigation (including negotiations),

Diogo Antunes is a lawyer and a certified Portuguese patent and trade mark attorney at Inventa, where he has been practising since 2017. He is the legal co-ordinator of Inventa’s international department since 2023

and a European Union trade mark and design attorney. Diogo regularly advises national and international clients on intellectual property matters. He holds a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, having written his dissertation on works and inventions generated by AI.
