Maria Farrukh Khan is a managing partner at United Trademark & Patent Services based primarily in the firm’s UAE offices. She holds a BA from Wellesley College and completed the Law Tripos at the University of
enforcement, opposition and litigation matters across the region. Mr Ali co-ordinates client communications, oversees regional teams and ensures effective execution of IP strategies. He also leads staff training and inter-office co-ordination. He has headed the firm’s UAE operations since 1994 and previously served in its Saudi Arabia office.
Cambridge as a Commonwealth Scholar. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales at Lincoln’s Inn. Her practice focuses on patents, trade marks, litigation and regional portfolio management. She has worked with leading international law firms in London and New York and is an active member of several global IP associations. She also serves as an adjunct professor at LUMS and regularly speaks at international conferences.
Muhammad Talal Farrukh Irfan Khan is a senior associate at United Trademark & Patent Services focusing on intellectual property enforcement, data privacy, cybersecurity and competition law. He is a member of
the Law Society of Ontario. He holds an LLM in Intellectual Property Law from The George Washington University Law School and an LLM in Constitutional Law from the University of Toronto. His practice includes advising start-ups and emerging businesses in the blockchain, fintech and technology sectors on intellectual property protection, regulatory compliance and cybersecurity matters, supporting innovation-driven enterprises through legally sound and commercially informed strategies.
Syed Mubashir Ali is the general manager overseeing United Trademark & Patent Services’ Middle East operations. A qualified pharmacist, he holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Pharmacy
and has decades of experience in intellectual property administration and management. He supervises trade mark, patent, design, copyright,
