Aislinn Smalling is an associate in the Trademark, Copyright & Media practice in the Dallas office of DLA Piper. She predominantly works on maintenance, prosecution and enforcement of trade mark portfolios.

An experienced trial attorney and strategist, she has successfully argued before the Second Circuit and district courts nationwide, achieving multiple victories at trial and on preliminary injunction motions. Tamar handles complex contract disputes, arbitrations and global rebranding initiatives, while advising on strategic licensing matters. A former clerk for Magistrate Judge Andrew J Peck, she serves on the SDNY/EDNY Rules Committee and the Federal Bar Council’s IP committee.

Her work with trade mark portfolios includes trade mark counselling and clearance. She also has experience in copyright counselling and enforcement. In addition to her intellectual property counselling work, Aislinn has experience in bringing actions before the TTAB as well as assisting in a range of federal litigation matters.
