Andrew Crain is the managing partner at Thomas Horstemeyer, and leader of the firm’s intellectual property litigation practice. Over his 25-year-plus career, Andrew has appeared in federal district courts
matters, including computer software, unfair competition, and counterfeiting matters. Todd has served as an arbitrator on both single and multi- panel arbitrations and has served as a special master and a mediator to assist the United States District Court.

Andrew was previously appointed to serve as Special Master in a patent infringement litigation in the Northern District of Georgia. Andrew’s special master appointment has included presiding over and issuing R&Rs for claim construction and summary judgment.
Lani Burt is a partner in Thomas Horstemeyer’s patent prosecution group. Lani’s patent experience covers a wide range of electrical, software, and mechanical technologies, including machine
learning, AI, data processing, application development, wireless communications, e-commerce systems, cloud computing technologies, database systems, mobile device management, security, virtualisation, and computer architecture, medical devices, optics, image capturing and 3D reconstruction, fibre-optic sensing devices, circuits, heat transfer and cooling systems, integrated circuit fabrication, and mechanical systems. Prior to entering the legal field, Lani worked as a software engineer developing test software for a wide variety of products, including Bluetooth technologies.
Todd Deveau works in all areas of intellectual property law, with a focus on trade mark law. He has prosecuted trade mark and design applications worldwide. He has also prosecuted patent applications in chemical,
