Barry Landy is an accomplished trial lawyer and chair of the business litigation group at Ciresi Conlin whose practice centres on complex commercial litigation, with a focus on trade secrets, breach of contract, fraud, financial services disputes, and class actions. He represents businesses and individuals nationwide in high-stakes matters in federal and state courts. Barry has played lead counsel roles in significant trade secret and unfair competition cases, helping secure landmark results including a USD375 million REIT settlement and a USD27 million royalty dispute. A recognised thought leader in trade secret law, he regularly writes and speaks on protecting confidential business information.

Patrick “Gus” Cochran is an associate at Ciresi Conlin whose practice focuses on commercial and intellectual property litigation. Gus represents plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts nationwide

and has played central roles in high-stakes trade secret cases, including managing discovery, briefing and arguing dispositive motions, and taking and defending key fact and Rule 30 (b)(6) depositions. Before joining the firm, Gus clerked for Judge Eric Tostrud of the US District Court for the District of Minnesota.
