Heather Blacklaws is an associate in Weil’s IP, Technology & Science Litigation practice, based in Austin, Texas. Heather focuses on resolving complex intellectual property disputes, with an emphasis on patent
infringement litigation. She has significant experience with handling discovery, motion practice, and trials on behalf of leading companies involved in high-stakes IP litigation. Heather holds dual undergraduate science degrees in both Neuroscience and Political Science, and served as a staff editor for the Intellectual Property Law Journal at the University of Texas School of Law. Heather previously worked as a research assistant in the Vanderbilt Center for Addiction Research.
