legislative reforms, including the Reform of the Criminal Procedure in the early 2000s, the drafting of Law No 20,393 on Criminal Liability of Corporations and the discussions on a new Criminal Code between 2013 and 2018. Bofill contributed significantly to educating judges, prosecutors, and public defenders during the implementation of the new criminal procedure. He was a member of the Chilean Bar Association’s Board from 2008 to 2020 and is currently a member.
