In particu - lar, Law No 2025-532 of 13 June 2025 on the fight against narcotrafficking has already modified several procedural aspects. The rewriting of the Code of Criminal Procedure thus represents an effort to modernise and consolidate French criminal procedure while maintaining its cur - rent legal framework.
