Diego R. Figueroa Rodríguez is the co-lead of the art law team at DLA Piper. His principal practice focuses on public finance and he has acted as counsel in more than 50 financing transactions involving the issuance of bonds totalling more than USD21 billion. An avid art collector and philanthropist, he advises artists, collectors, galleries and cultural institutions on commercial, finance, intellectual property, litigation, corporate, trusts and estates, tax and real estate matters. Diego serves on the governing boards of various art institutions, including the Museo de Arte Puerto Rico, the Center for Art Law, Ten North Arts Foundation, Coloring The World Foundation and Oolite Arts. He is admitted to practice in Florida and New York.
