Bernhard Gröhe is a managing associate at ARQIS, specialising in public economic law, renewable energy, sustainability, and ESG. He studied law at the University of Münster and Péter Pázmány
philosophy and politics in Rostock. Before joining ARQIS, he worked at renowned law firms such as Freshfields and Posser Spieth Wolfers & Partners. His focus lies in environmental and planning law, particularly within the context of European regulation and sustainable transformation. His work combines legal precision with a deep understanding of political and social developments.

During his legal clerkship (Referendariat), he gained experience in Düsseldorf, Berlin, and Leverkusen. As part of the ARQIS team, he advises companies on complex regulatory issues, particularly in renewable energy, the circular economy, and ESG compliance.
Hannah Düwel is a managing associate at ARQIS, specialising in public economic law with a focus on sustainability, energy law and the EU Green Deal. She studied law at the University of Bonn and earned an

LLM from Queen Mary University of London. She completed her legal clerkship (Referendariat) in Cologne and Düsseldorf. As part of the ARQIS team, she supports companies in implementing ESG strategies, complying with regulatory requirements, and integrating sustainable practices into business processes. One focus of her expertise concerns the regulatory challenges facing the energy sector.
