Assunção has been Minister of Agriculture, Sea, Environment, and Spatial Planning, responsible for the institutional reorganisation of several areas of administration, the negotiation of the European Common Agricultural Policy reform and participation in the climate COPs.

Carolina Vaza joined VdA in 2018 and is a senior associate in the environment and climate change practice. She has been involved in several transactions in the areas of the environment, the ocean and natural resources.
