At the same time, the increasing sophistication of deal structures – including the use of contingent pricing mechanisms, distressed M&A strategies and alternative routes to liquidity – reflects a market that is adapting to the current invest - ment environment.
In this context, investors and market participants are likely to maintain a more cautious approach, with more comprehensive due diligence and prioritising assets with lower risks, resilient cash flows and clear strate - gic rationale. Domestic transactions are expected to remain predominant, although cross-border activity – particularly in strategic sectors – should continue to play an important role.
