James Castle is a senior associate within the ISOLAS litigation team. His practice focuses on complex litigation matters with an emphasis on insolvency, trusts, fraud and distributed ledger technology disputes. James advises clients on matters relating to the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments, injunctive relief and other interim applications. James’s practice extends to non-contentious financial services matters and data protection and privacy where James regularly advises retail and investment banks as well as other financial institutions on regulatory and contractual matters as well as advising public authorities, law enforcement bodies and DLT entities on privacy compliance, data subject access request handling, conducting GDPR/LED audits, DPIAs and policy drafting.
litigation. Nick joined ISOLAS in 2017 and was previously an assistant manager in the Indirect Taxes Team of Deloitte UK. Nick advises international and local companies in M&A, property transactions and property development involving companies and/or real estate in Gibraltar. He also acts on a wide range of statutory and/or contractual claims, including redundancies, collective redundancies, unfair dismissals, bullying, discrimination and personal injury. Nick has assisted as junior counsel in cases in the Supreme Court of Gibraltar as well as in the Employment Tribunal.
Louise Anne Turnock is an associate in the private client and tax department of ISOLAS. She regularly assists the team on corporate, tax and private client matters, including
re-structuring corporate and trust structures, whilst also advising on tax implications under Gibraltar law. She is an active member of the local Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners branch, and she is currently undertaking the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management.
