John Bonello is the founding partner of 8Point Law and obtained a Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta in 2005, after completing a critical analysis on public procurement in Malta for his dissertation. He went on
Elian Scicluna joined 8Point Law in 2018. She achieved a Master of Advocacy degree and was admitted to the Maltese Bar in 2019. Elian
mainly practises in dispute resolution, in both civil and commercial matters, as well as the drafting of contracts, assisting several of the firm’s clients in their daily business operations.
to achieve an LLM in international maritime law from the IMO International Maritime Law Institute and was admitted to the Maltese Bar in 2006. On invitation of the US Embassy in Malta, he completed an international visitor leadership programme in the USA in 2010. John’s involvement in cross-border family disputes led to him becoming a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers in 2018.
