Amparo Arbáizar has over 20 years of experience advising international clients in international family law, law of succession and cross-border estate planning. She is a litigation expert in the Spanish jurisdiction and

has acted as a Spanish legal expert before the courts of the United Kingdom, Canada and the USA. Her significant experience involves all aspects of family law, covering divorce, financial settlements, pre and postnuptial agreements, liquidation of matrimonial property regimes, arrangements for children, international child abduction cases, maintenance obligation enforcement, civil partnership matters, unmarried couples, and same- sex marriages. Amparo is a family mediator and regards mediation as a valuable alternative to settling disputes. She is fluent in English and German.
