Sang Wook Cho is a partner and head of the labour and employment practice at Yulchon, who practises primarily in the areas of labour and employment and workplace investigations. A veteran labour law practitioner, Mr Cho advises leading domestic companies and major foreign corporations that have entered or wish to enter the Korean market on all manner of labour and employment matters. He is very active in the team’s robust and growing workplace investigations practice, as the head of

Seung Hyun Lee has decades of experience as a prosecutor,

specialising in finance, corruption, environmental issues and sexual violence. At Yulchon, she has led internal investigations and litigation involving corporate misconduct, trade-secret leaks, and workplace harassment. With an LLM from Georgetown Law School, she brings strong foreign language skills and a global perspective to the global white-collar defence team. Recognised as a ranked lawyer by leading publications, she is a highly regarded expert in her field. Tae Eun Lee is a partner at Yulchon. Mr Lee graduated from Seoul National University (LLB) and Sogang University School of Law (JD) and completed a visiting scholar programme at Columbia Law School. Mr Lee worked as a visiting international attorney in the New York and Los Angeles offices of Littler Mendelson PC. He is licensed to practise in Korea and California. Mr Lee’s practice focuses primarily on employment and labour law and internal investigations.

Soojung Lee is a foreign attorney admitted in California and the deputy head of Yulchon’s labour and employment practice and its Workplace Investigations and Disputes Centre. She advises

domestic and foreign multinational companies in relation to all manner of labour and employment matters in Korea, including workforce reduction, employee and executive termination, sexual and non-sexual harassment claims, collective labour relations, discrimination, use of non-regular workers, and general employment-law compliance. A native Korean speaker, she has extensive legal and business experience in both Korea and the US and has been recognised as a leading individual in the labour and employment field in Korea by prestigious international and domestic publications and directories.

Christopher Mandel is a foreign attorney at Yulchon who primarily practises in the area of labour and employment. His practice covers all manner of employment issues from routine compliance to large-scale

redundancies, including sensitive workplace investigations for multinational clients. He previously worked as an associate in the New York office of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, and clerked for the Honourable William H Yohn Jr of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
