Robert Ufberg is the founder and managing partner of Ufberg & Associates, where he exclusively advises and represents employers on labour and employment matters. He litigates cases before state and

as a federal law clerk. After returning to private practice, Matt resumed his focus on employment matters, where he works proactively with clients to prevent or limit workplace issues. Matt offers a unique employer-focused perspective after previously representing labour organisations and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York.

He frequently lectures on labour and employment issues to attorneys, human resources professionals, trade associations and organisations such as the Pennsylvania Bar Association, SHRM, the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association and the National Academy of Arbitrators.

John Ellis devotes his practice at Ufberg & Associates to management- side labour and employment law. He focuses on risk management and prevention related to wage and hour issues, discrimination, discriminatory

harassment and related workplace investigations, employee discipline, disability accommodation, leaves of absence, reductions in force, hiring issues, employee privacy and other employment-related issues. He actively participates in the firm’s client training arm, and is a frequent speaker at seminars on labour and employment law issues. John has represented employers before the NLRB, EEOC, Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, Occupational Safety and Health Commission, Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Board of Review and other state agencies.

Matthew Boyd brings a balanced and strategic approach to his labour and employment practice at Ufberg & Associates, advising employers on workplace investigations, negotiating labour contracts and aggressively

litigating employment disputes. He began his career in the New York offices of a large law firm handling labour and employment matters, and later worked
