Luís Portela de Carvalho is a partner at Lektou, specialising in gaming, IT, media, and entertainment law. With comprehensive expertise spanning all aspects of gaming and IT law, he advises both Portuguese and
Pedro Cortés began his legal career at Lektou in 2003 and currently serves as managing partner. He has extensive experience in gaming, IT, corporate law, M&A, capital markets, and banking and finance. He is
international clients on complex regulatory and operational matters, leveraging his experience as former head of legal at one of the world’s largest gaming affiliates. Luís holds memberships with the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA) and the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) and serves as invited lecturer at the Portuguese Catholic University. He is a frequent speaker at international conferences and academic institutions, sharing insights on gaming industry developments.

Cláudia de Azevedo Neves has been an associate at Lektou since 2026. She works across the firm’s business law practice, with a particular focus on employment, corporate and commercial matters in the technology
and digital economy sectors. Her work includes contract review, corporate support, workplace policies and risk analysis in projects involving technology-related transactions, regulatory compliance, data protection and cybersecurity, and software and IT contracting. Cláudia is a Young Scholar at the Portuguese Labour Law Association.
