Authors
Jorge Cabrera is a partner at Winter Etcheberry. He specialises in criminal law, with a particular focus on white- collar crime and international assistance in criminal matters. He was admitted to the Bar in Chile in
2008. His recent work includes advising and representing clients in complex financial, corruption and environmental crime cases and appearing before the Chilean courts. In addition to his experience in criminal litigation, he has an LLM and a PhD in Criminal Law and teaches on several postgraduate courses in Chilean universities. He is also an accomplished author and former academic director of postgraduate programmes in criminal law.
Felipe Berríos is the director of the Criminal Law Division at Winter Etcheberry and offers outstanding team leadership skills. His practice focuses on leading teams in complex litigation, drawing on his experience
Jaime Winter is a partner at Winter Etcheberry and has extensive experience in white-collar crime litigation and compliance. Admitted to the Bar in Chile in 2010 and formerly head of litigation at Albagli Zaliasnik,
within the Chilean judiciary, where he was part of the criminal investigation team in a high-profile case involving fraud against the state by the Chilean army. He holds a Master’s in Criminal Law and has served as a teaching assistant in criminal law courses, and as a research assistant on justice-related topics.
