Lua Mota Santos has been an associate at Rogério Alves &

Associados since 2024 and is also a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon. She specialises in criminal law within the fraud and white-collar crime department. Her legal career began in 2021 as a trainee at Uría Menendez, where she became an associate in the litigation department in 2023, gaining extensive experience in civil, commercial and criminal litigation. Lua has been involved in several significant and complex criminal cases investigated in Portugal in recent years.

Bárbara is now acting in the area of litigation and arbitration, with a particular focus on criminal litigation and high-profile legal cases.

Amanda Bueno Almeida has been an associate at Rogério Alves & Associados since 2022 and is a valuable member of the firm’s criminal law department. She has been working at the firm since 2020,

starting as a trainee lawyer and acquiring experience and knowledge in civil and criminal litigation. After becoming an associate, she became an expert in criminal law, particularly on economic crime litigation and administrative sanctions.
