He advises clients regarding tax planning, structuring, and compliance for commercial real estate projects, all stages of the business life cycle, generational wealth transfer, family business succession, and executive compensation. Matthew is known for his work on complex deals involving advanced tax considerations. He has served as a trusted advisor for prominent real estate funds, executives of multinational corporations, venture capitalists, successful start-up businesses, ultra high net worth families.

Her tax controversy practice includes representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service, the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, and the New York City Department of Finance; matters include disputes related to income, franchise, and real property transfer taxes. She received her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law. She is an active member of the State and Local Tax Committee of the New York City Bar Association.

Elysse Anderson is an associate in Falcon Rappaport & Berkman’s (FRB) corporate and securities practice group. Elysse concentrates her practice on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters,
mergers, sales, acquisitions, and divisive reorganisations. He also has significant experience with divisive reorganizations for partnerships focused on dividing large real estate portfolios, and with corporate Type D reorganisations and spin-offs. Matt started his career at Big 4 accounting firms where he advised Fortune 500 companies on a variety of tax matters. He is active in the New York City Bar Association, where he is a member (and former secretary) of the State and Local Tax
