Mónica Sánchez is an industrial property specialist with ten years of experience in the protection and strategic management of patents in Mexico and internationally. Throughout her career, she has worked with companies, universities and research centres in the design and implementation of comprehensive intellectual property strategies, including the drafting and prosecution of patent applications, freedom-to-operate studies, intangible asset valuation and technology intelligence analysis. She has also participated in projects related to the IMPI–COFEPRIS linkage system, which is of relevance to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Roxana Aispuro is senior partner at BC&B, with a background in chemical

engineering and law. She holds a Master’s in Bioprocesses. Roxana leads the life sciences practice at the firm, as well as areas related to technology protection and licensing. With 15 years of experience, she specialises in life science matters, intellectual property, technology valuation, industrial secrets and technology transfer. She holds a CLP certification and serves as secretary of RED OTT México and vice president of LES México. She is recognised for her expertise in IP management, licensing and technology transfer.
